What a difference a day makes! 6am was high tide, so not surprising that if the dune was going to be breached, that it would be then. Cottage ave is now an ocean river carrying debris and sand. Fred/Christy's dune is completely compromised, Williams' dune is holding, our driveway is a lake to the first front step and Kathleen is considering moving upstairs. She tried to get to the truck that she parked at Lighthouse B&B but the water was higher than her boots! As she ponders her next move, watching each wave rolling down Cottage is a bit unsettling to her.
