On another note, other things in life are hella good. Amazing how life just makes you change your outlook over and over again. If you asked me ten years ago would I think that having a family would be so fulfilling I would laugh and say "nooo...sounds boring." But hey, it is pretty fulfilling. To know that this little guy is taken care of by not just me, but so many wonderful people is an amazing blessing. While it hurts my heart to have to leave him for work during the week, it is so much better knowing he is being well taken care of.
A couple of weeks ago, I went home for a visit and for B to go to the first couple rounds of March Madness in Pittsburgh. While it makes me ache for home, it also makes me realize I am glad I made the move. I always wished I had done a move on my own rather than needing to drag someone with me (thanks B for making this adventure work), I am just glad it eventually happened. It is so much better to travel and grow as a person than simply staying where things are safe. And for me, home for those may years was definitely safe.
Pittsburgh was a blast, and amazingly, J is already three months old this week. Ahh they grow so fast.
And...my mother didn't even mention anything about the blog...success!
